I am working on a project to remote-control radio communication equipment which uses an audio bandwidth of 300Hz - 3.4KHz so your new Multi-Band-Splitter and Equalizer components will be especially useful as I can now tailor the audio response exactly as it should be. Thank you for an excellent product. Keep up the good work!
Steve Powell For some time, I've worked on a piece of software for collecting audio from Barix Annuncicom (a hardware interface for bridging audio to Ethernet; see www.barix.com). But one big obstacle resisted all my efforts. After working for months without circumventing the problem, I tested the VCX Library from LakeOfSoft. Among its tons of features, the library also contains methods of communicating with audio-units from Barix. But: my problem persisted. VCX Library worked with lots of codecs, but had a slight problem with 16bit PCM versus Barix Annuncicom. A byte ordering problem caused static noise to appear randomly. I e-mailed LakeOfSoft about the problem, and from the first reply I realised that I was taken seriously. After just TWO DAYS with e-mails back and forth mapping the problem, they had made a new version of the library and solved a problem that I've been working on for months! Relieved, I gladly purchased the library. And in only one evening of work my software could finally enter the alfa-stage. I've purchased some Active-X components in my short programming career, and this one gives a solid feel. Smooth installation, good documentation, it works as expected, and - to me most importantly: Example apps for both VB.NET and C#.NET for both VS2003 and VS2005. Finally someone who understands that us non-pro-programmers like simple examples to look at (and copy from). LakeOfSoft have definitely proven to me their ability to fix problems. They saw my needs fast and dealt with them accordingly. I've had a great experience dealing with these guys, and want to recommend LakeOfSoft to anyone with audio-programming needs.
